Client process

CONSULT

The initial consultation serves as the cornerstone for a successful and collaborative partnership between our design team and you, the client. It is a mutual exchange of information where we assess the space, gather insights into your needs, style preferences, lifestyle, and how you intend to use the space. Discussions about budget and timelines are also crucial to laying the foundation for a successful design process. During this meeting, we also provide a comprehensive overview of what we offer, our processes, milestones, potential challenges, and communication channels and more. If both parties decide to proceed, we will collaboratively create a letter of intent outlining the project scope, associated fees, payment schedules, timelines, and any other pertinent project details.

CONCEPTUALIZE

Our team comes up with a the core idea that shapes the aesthetic and functional aspects of a project. It unifies elements like color, materials, and furniture to create a cohesive look. Derived from client preferences and intended use, the concept acts as a roadmap for design decisions, ensuring consistency and purpose throughout the project. Examples include a minimalist living room with clean lines or a rustic farmhouse kitchen with warm tones and natural materials. Essentially, it’s the central theme guiding the designer to transform abstract ideas into a tangible and well-coordinated design.

DESIGN

Guided by the design concept, we translate initial ideas into multiple to scale design solutions. We meticulously review and refine aspects such as costing, logistics, quality, and sourcing to meet your expectations. When designs are completed, we present it to you in-person*, utilizing digital formats and, when applicable, hard copies. This includes sketches, drawings, renderings, and physical materials. Your feedback is essential, and we incorporate revisions to generate the final documentation needed to initiate the construction or execution phase of the plans. *not applicable for edesign services

BUILD

After your design approval, we proceed to develop detailed technical plans (if applicable) and coordinate purchase orders with manufacturers, vendors, installers, and, if engaged, the General Contractor. We take charge of overseeing all build and execution phases, ensuring alignment with the vision and closely monitoring efficiency to minimize incidentals and prevent cost overruns.
