KOBBY MASON AKUFFO
Kobby Mason Akuffo approaches interior design with a focus on form and function, prioritizing the wellbeing of occupants. The now Chicago-based designer brings a unique appeal to his work through a commitment to harmony, form, and light. Taking a playful approach to color and material textures, Kobby uses bold, dramatic, or soft palettes to convey mood through visual elements. Specializing in sustainable design, Kobby incorporates a holistic approach that adds purity to his creativity. Kobby masters his craft by utilizing organic materials and nature to create style, warmth, and harmony. A graduate of the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, he holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design with a specialization in Sustainable Design. Additionally, he completed his studies at the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management in England. While Kobby primarily focuses on residential interiors, he increasingly takes on commercial commissions.
OUR STORY
Asorfi Design was founded on the premise of crafting
beautiful, practical, and modern interior spaces that seamlessly
integrate the soulfulness of history and culture – a
human-centric approach combined with contemporary design
principles and technology. Drawing inspiration from organic
and vernacular design elements, Asorfi Design Co. creates
spaces that prioritize health, reintroduce life, foster harmony,
and promote wellbeing. It’s a place where memories can be
built to nurture positive attitudes, emotions, motivations, and
abilities, with the goal of delivering an optimal life experience
for family, friends, and the community.
GRIFFIN HALL
Griffin Hall is a Design Assistant and Revit CAD Drafter with a degree in Interior Architecture
from Columbia College Chicago. Passionate about designing spaces that put people first, Griffin
approaches each project with a balance of technical precision and creative curiosity. Drawing
inspiration from travel and diverse experiences, Griffin is always exploring new ideas,
perspectives, and methods to continually grow as a designer and collaborator.
